WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME

Ok.. well that might be a little rough, but I’m so uggg. Let me let you decide…

1) I went to the Apple store yesterday after school because my computer has been acting weird. I flirted with the guy at the genius bar (and visa versa) for an hour. Then he told me to back my laptop up and then bring it back in this morning. That is what I did.. (this will be continued in #2). So I bring it in and he is there YAY!!! well not really. I got some other dude. Then I had to leave my computer and bring it back. I left and decided if I end up working with Kevin again, I’d give him my number. Well I went back and he walked past me and didn’t say anything. I don’t know if he didn’t recognize me or if he didn’t see me or if he didn’t care. Then I left and had to come back because I forgot to ask a question about my battery. I ended up working with Kevin and I guess he noticed me, but didn’t say anything (I don’t know why). Then we talked and flirted for as long as we could before he no longer had any more tests to run. I had a chance to check his interest/give him my number and I didn’t. I figured he didn’t even recognize me.. granted yesterday I looked like a 5 on a 1-10 for me and today more like a 8 or so. Once I got home I was like I know I had a perfect opportunity.. I should have just taken it, but I chickened out.

So, now I’m planning on going back on Saturday because my battery ended up lasting 45 min before dying today where he said it should last a few hours. I’d go tomorrow but he doesn’t work until the weekend. He is nice and knows my computer which is 1 reason and the other he is cute and fun to talk to.

2) I LOST ALL MY PHOTOS FROM THE LAST 8 YEARS because I didn’t notice they didn’t transfer to my external hard drive last night. There were THOUSANDS of photos and I’m down to 747 that I put up on facebook. About 30% of my actual photo album. It was the most devastating thing I’ve ever gone through. I mean losing music SUCKS but I can always re-download or re-upload from my phone & I don’t listen to half the stuff. Losing documents would suck, but most of them I don’t really need. Photos are irreplaceable unless you were lucky enough to post them on facebook where they will be forever saved. THE PLUS & MINUS of Technology..

So my question to you: 1) what should I do bout Kevin? 2) Am I really as stupid as I feel right now..

Oh and you haven’t been told but there is this kid from one of my classes who is relatively perfect in the big scheme of the woman’s checklist right down to working with autistic children and being on honor role as well as an athlete. However, I’m too chicken to be forward/talk to him because there haven’t been any non-awkward/obvious moments.

Any thoughts?

The second best commercial was the Kia “Dream Car.” Yes, I know you most likely wouldn’t dream of driving a Kia if you had that dream, but it was a great way to set the perspective Kia is trying to hit.

As you might know, 1) I am a Marketing Major and can never watch a commercial without analyzing it.. 2) I work for the marketing department at Jack in the Box.. and I saw for the first time our MarryBacon.com commercial. I have to say I was a little disappointed.. I think we could have done better, but it wasn’t bad. There were some horrible commercials as well.

Worst:

1) The NEW Pussycat Dolls in GoDaddy.com

2) The NBC comedy commercial

Now there is something to be said for being a horrible commercial. We, as humans, have a tendency to talk more about negative things: Bad experiences at a restaurant or hotel, or bad tv shows, bad music, and of course bad commercials. So, if you know you can’t be the best.. maybe being the worst isn’t all bad. However, I doubt any company’s marketing plan involves being the worst at commercials.

Well, I am sick, so I’m heading to bed early. I hope you all had a great weekend! Oh and I’m sorry to all New England Patriot fans.

On another note, I have reinstated my pact. It has been a year officially about 15 days ago. I’m now in a purgatory of sorts. I turn 21 in 8 days and 6.5 hours. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I have made a second pact to my other original one.

Pact Jan 23, 2012:

I promise I will not be in a relationship unless it is a serious one, nor will I sleep with anyone until I am in a serious relationship with them.

Now this isn’t a New Years pact, but a different type of pact. For those of you who have yet to read my whole blog. Last January I made a pact after I broke up with my boyfriend to not date until I was happy by myself. Over the last year, I was up and down with being happy single. Like most, the holidays make it hard to feel happy by yourself. I also went through a variety of “crushes” or potential guys to date. The only one that I actually dated was from work, which luckily I never see him. It ended weird, but honestly he was probably the most boring guy on the planet.

So, now I’m back to being single and being 21. I am ready for a boyfriend, but at the same time I’m worried I’ll fall for the wrong guy again. This time I’m not going to fall for anyone unless I see potential for a future with.

I met a 17 year old at a wedding I attended last weekend who looked 22 and GORGEOUS. One more year & I will have no qualms about saying so or thinking dirty thoughts about him .. hehehe

Well I did promise you a Holiday Song would be on my list Honestly, I heard it this morning, and I didn’t turn the dial, which is a great sign. My mother listens to Christmas music year round, and until I was ten when I got her to listen only in the months of November, December, & January did that change. So she kind of got me annoyed with Christmas Music. I can only handle it two days a year.. and those are coming up this Saturday & Sunday !

Overall, although I am having to take extra classes and won’t be done with my senior year until July, I will at least be spending 2 months in Europe. Because of this, I will be blogging as much as I can. I am hoping to do either once a day post of where I went & what I saw, but I will at least do a post a city. I figure there will be enough downtime on the bus/train during my trip & then during school when I’m procrastinating of doing my homework I’ll have some time to update you all.

Just 6 more months and I cannot wait! I just want the next semester to fly by and not stop for one second. I guess all my stressing this last semester about not only current classes, but how I’m going to get all my classes in before May, paid off because I not only have a trip of a life time, but it is expanded for 3 more weeks. I will be gone for about a month and a half and it will be amazing!

So every holiday season men flee from relations as women crave them. 1) Men don’t want to buy presents for girl friends 2) Women not only want to receive presents from loved ones, but they want to have someone to cuddle up with. Unfortunately for myself, dogs do not help. Granted, I guess I’d feel more lonely during the holiday season without them, but it is just a reminder that you are cuddling up by yourself. So does this make us vulnerable to falling back into old flames or falling into the wrong new guy’s arms?

People always say that winter is a season of death as nothing grows, but I think that is not true. I think it is the season that people want to share the special times with those they love, and if they are only with family, it just isn’t the same. I love decorating for Christmas. I am usually decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving even comes, but this year I didn’t decorate until last Sunday. I did it because I was already cleaning my apartment and felt that it was a good time to do it as it fit into my busy schedule. However, the entire time it just didn’t feel the same. It felt empty and hollow.

Last night, I was in bed curled up with my pups talking to my ex about how his therapist told him to keep me in his life because I challenge him. I will always have feelings for him and if we ever happened to be in the same city for a long period of time who knows what would happen. I mean I don’t want to go backwards in my life, but I would like to see how our relationship would be as we are more of adults. That’s not really my point. My point is that I wanted someone to cuddle. Last holiday season I was in a relationship, and we broke up the first week of January. It is actually been exactly 11 months of me being single. My pact is almost up, and more than ever I want to find the guy that is right for me. Even if it is only “Mr. Right Now” and not “Mr. Right” if that makes sense.

The other frustrating things of the holiday season is gift sending & holiday cards. I don’t know about you guys, but if I had a friend ask for my address especially during this time of the year, I would give it to them. I’m not talking about random acquaintances or creepy facebook stalkers, but close friends. I guess may be it is just me, but I don’t want to have to say “I’m going to send you a present is that ok? Can I have your address?” I just want it to be a surprise. Like “Wow, I got a package/card!”

As most of you know I graduate next semester! Yay! Finally done. I’m sooooo burnt out. The part that sucks, and the part that I’ve been dealing with throughout November is classes. I found out that I needed an extra two classes in order to graduate, which not only means overloading my schedule, but an extra few thousand to finish up. This leads me to my next point: if I had known what would happen I would have either taken summer school earlier or decide not to graduate in May and wait until December. Luckily, I have a professor willing to help me with one of the classes at a small unit level so it saves a few thousand, but I can still graduate.

Now, the last time I spoke I was off to a football party. Well, that night seemed to go like many others I have experienced. Party after party being shut down for one reason or another. I cannot wait until I’m 21! (2 more months!) So, instead my night turned into a night of puppy rescuing, which I actually enjoyed because I would want someone to save my pups if they saw them running in the street. Speaking of, we went to the beach the last two days and MJ is doing great! She went swimming by herself without me going in with her, and her knee is doing so much better. She has yet to jump up, but otherwise she is running and moving about just fine.

As for R, I am over my fantasy and woke up from my middle school crush. Although, something funny: I had a day dream about the guy that was married to Kim Kardashian.. Kris Humphries. It was entertaining because I have never heard of him until last Thursday after reading an interview with him while bored at work, and now I’m day dreaming about him.. Not that I want to date someone with money.. I could care less, but it is about the dogs & his hatred for the spotlight (which I think is part bs).. 1) I think if he is being real in the interview he has a great personality just was wrong in picking the spotlight queen 2) he has the most adorable dogs— yes two yorkies just like me

So that is about it for today. I’m pretty sure there is more, but I probably should focus on Finance. I will be back with my November playlist!
